The City of Cape Town has launched a new website that allows for online vehicle licence renewal, which could mean the end of having stand in long queues.

The City of Cape Town site also features a list of motor vehicle registration and licensing offices, if you do need to pay them a call in person, along with a section entitled Frequently Asked Questions.

"The site aims to reduce the number of telephone inquiries and the queues in the city's offices," said Trevor Blake, the city's director of revenue.

MERRELL EDEN DUO ADVENTURE RACE
Now in its 10th year, the Merrell Eden Duo is fast becoming SA’s top adventure race. The race is presented around the scenic Wilderness area, near George in the Southern Cape.
The race offers 50km, 150km and 200km race distances for teams of 2 members participating in either, male, female, mixed, veteran or 4-member relay categories. All races start on Saturday, 30 October 2010. Participants can expect exciting disciplines such as trail running, mountain biking, paddling and basic navigation.
